# Skill Pack: Modding

Mod your PC games without breaking them: safe installs, crash fixes, custom content. 3 skills that work with Claude Code, Codex, and any agent that supports the Agent Skills standard. Free, from Classified AI (https://www.classifiedai.dev/resources).

## Install: paste this to your agent

```
Install the "Modding" skill pack: read https://www.classifiedai.dev/packs/modding.md and follow its install steps. Then tell me what each skill does and how to use it.
```

## Install steps (for the agent)

1. Find the skills folder for this agent:
   - Claude Code: `~/.claude/skills/` for every project, or `.claude/skills/` inside one project.
   - Codex: `.agents/skills/` inside the project. Check the Codex skills docs for user-wide locations.
   - Other agents: the folder your agent loads Agent Skills from (see agentskills.io).
2. For each skill below, create a folder named after the skill inside the skills folder, and save the skill's SKILL.md into it from the URL listed.
3. Skip any skill that is already installed unless the user asks to update it.
4. List what you installed. If the skills do not show up, ask the user to start a new session.

## The skills

- **modding-workshop**: Sets up a modding workshop, backs up and checks your saves before every change, and vets mods before install. https://www.classifiedai.dev/packs/modding/modding-workshop/SKILL.md
- **mod-crash-investigation**: Saves the crash evidence, reads the logs, and finds the mod behind a crash. https://www.classifiedai.dev/packs/modding/mod-crash-investigation/SKILL.md
- **mod-content-writer**: Reads what a mod really contains and writes lore, characters, and world files in its format. https://www.classifiedai.dev/packs/modding/mod-content-writer/SKILL.md

## What you need

Nothing extra. Pairs with the three modding guides.

Read any skill before you install it, the same way you would check a script you found online. Every skill here is screened before it ships.
